Coffee brewed in a traditional metal drip filter, then mixed with hot milk and sugar - the classic South Indian style.
South Indian filter coffee is brewed by slowly dripping hot water through finely ground coffee (often with chicory) in a traditional two-chamber metal filter, called a filter kaapi set. The strong decoction is then mixed with hot milk and sugar and traditionally poured back and forth between two cups ("meter coffee") to build a frothy top.
