The Cup
At 80:20 the chicory is a supporting note: a little more body and colour, a rounder finish, and the coffee still leads. Both blends sit in this range, so expect a classic South Indian decoction rather than a very thick, very dark one. For caffeine, 80% coffee puts a 30g cup of the Gray Cup blend at about 310 mg - chicory has none.
Caffeine: ~310 mg per 30 g cup80% coffee / 20% chicory
Verdict
On price, the Gray Cup blend is ₹60 cheaper per 500g (about 13%), and cheaper again at 1kg. On format, Cothas has a 200g pack for trying the blend; Gray Cup does not. If you drink filter coffee daily, the 1kg pack is where the saving adds up.
