Best Arabica Robusta Blend Coffee in India
An Arabica-Robusta blend gives you aroma and strength together. Here's how to pick the ratio and the best blends for filter coffee and espresso.

An Arabica-Robusta blend combines Arabica's aroma, sweetness and acidity with Robusta's body, strength, crema and caffeine. It's the standard for South Indian filter coffee and most espresso blends, and it's usually cheaper than straight Arabica.
Caffeine figures below assume a strong 30 g dose of grounds per cup.
Picking the Ratio
- 95:5 / 90:10 - mostly Arabica character, a whisper more body. Good for lighter milk coffee.
- 80:20 - noticeably fuller and stronger, still aromatic. A popular everyday ratio.
- 70:30 - the traditional South Indian ratio. Bold, full-bodied, stands up to plenty of milk.
- Beyond 30% Robusta - strong and heavy; better in espresso blends than drunk black.
